I headcanon Wen Qing as a lesbian and usually can’t stand seeing her shipped with a man, but my one exception is Nie Mingjue - the sexual tension potential there is just way too good to not be explored, whether their relationship is loving or purely physical hate fucking

Okay, but when writing about an idea I had for a “what if Wen Ning warned them before the Lotus Pier massacre” ChengNing fic, I legit considered a version where WN pushed JC aside and got his core melted instead but I couldn’t handle the angst of doing that to my sweet boy 😭
