And I’m not one to defend nick lowe because he doesn’t pay my bills. But spidey fans literally say shit like HES THROBBING WITH ANGER THAT PETER B PARKER IS SUCCESSFUL IN MOVIES. This is unhealthy. And since a lot of us don’t have positive thoughts towards him. We let it pass.
We need to talk about how the parasocial relationships between creators and fans leads to death threats still being a thing. Like we create a culture where someone can say X PERSON HATES THIS CHARACTER and people have active unhealthy anger towards them.

and a lot of this honestly CANT be learned just by reading a lot of books. a lot of this needs to be taught to you by a teacher so that they can directly engage with you and tell you when you're wrong
