Day 21: 🎭 The Weir, at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

Sometimes it’s nice to just be told a good ghost story.
Say 19: 📽️ “The Conjuring” (2013)
“Bram Stoker’s Dracula” (1992)
Day 18: 📺 “Ghostwatch” (1992).

A masterclass in pareidolia. First time my wife has seen it (and the first time I’ve seen it, since Michael Parkinson himself became a ghost.)
Day 17: 🎥 Night of the Night of the Demon/s!

"Night of the Demons" (1988) Far more dancing than I'd expected.

"Night of the Demon" (1983) Bigfoot rips off genitals, swings guts around, and a US college Professor STILL doesn't get fired.

Day15: 🧛‍♂️ Online event with Piers Torday.
Vampyr! Werwolf! Unconventional spellings!
Day 14: 🎸 Iron Maiden signing. With my namesake …
Day 13: 📹 Filmed a sketch about a worm salesman at Camp Crystal Lake.
The accents were ... unsettling.
📽️ Sleepy Hollow (1999)
Day 12: 🪦 Walk in West Norwood Cemetery.
🍫 And this truly terrifying edible entity
Day 11: 🎙️ M.R. James ghost stories, freely available on Vibrivox. Today, “The Ash Tree” 🌳🕷️
Although “The Shadow” may just have pipped it. A short, perfect encapsulation of fear.
Day 8: 📚 “John Charrington’s Wedding” by E. Nesbit.

One of my favourites so far from the collection in reading this October - with a wonderfully cinematic Gothic ending.
Day 7: 🍪 A spoookie coooookie
Day 6: 📚 “Hust of Hurstcote” by E. Nesbit

From this pretty freakin’ spooky collection.
Day 5: 📽️ Night of the Demon (1956).

It’s in the trees … it’s coming …
Day 4: Necropolis - a game all about infuriating high pitched voices (as I understand it)
Day 3: Shudder double-bill, "Doomwatch" (1972) and "Butcher, Baker, Nightmare-Maker" (1982).

The former, more of a sad ecological drama; the second one a nice Oedipal slasher.
