#ProudBlue The Downers Grove Library (IL) is stepping up to help people who need to see someone from Social Security. FYI, if you’re in the area… other libraries may be doing the same. Another reason the GOP will be attacking them.

I am proud to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. With division and hate on the rise, Dr. King’s legacy reminds us of our shared humanity and our ability to create change. We will continue the fight and march until injustice is rooted out wherever it’s found.

Cecile Richards, a Texas legend, just like her mama!

Running in the same Texas circles, especially working with Beto, was an absolute privilege every time I had the honor of running into her.

Rest in peace, love. 🤍🕊️

RESIST.
Don't quit.
Don't stop fighting.
Don't obey in advance.
Don't stop calling them out.
Keep raising your voices as loudly as you can.
Keep organizing your friends, family, everyone.
Keep supporting orgs that are leading the fight.

RESIST.

It's worth stressing that back in the late 70s my NHS shrink prescribed me HRT for some months before I transitioned socially. The idea that you should do the Real Life Test without the significant help of feminising/masculinizing drugs is a sadistic innovation that leads to stigma/social exclusion.

Here's your daily reminder that bookstores keep the love of reading alive — but they also keep neighborhoods beautiful. They are places to gather, to celebrate stories, to find community.

Please do your holiday shopping at your local independent bookstore, if you are lucky enough to still have one.
