I love this "Teaching Center" sendup of "Sports Center" from Key & Peele. If only we treated teachers this way.❤️

I hope you'll tell a teacher you know that you are thankful for them. https://youtu.be/dkHqPFbxmOU?si=junnYV4J24LhiOS4

Intellectual ability isn't all students need to be successful at college. Students who can ace tests because they don't need to study but don't turn in work aren't ready yet. Read this post from Kelley Challen on grounding transition planning in reality:
Potential is More Than a Score
Why students, parents, and professionals need to account for the whole student, not just their strongest or weakest attribute, when planning for postsecondary success.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

Cw: suicide
This article is devastating.

Earlier this month, a 15-year-old died by suicide the day after posting about a substitute teacher insisting on misgendering him.

Suicide can have many contributing factors. His family is speaking out about bullying and misgendering as two.
