This is heartbreaking. The article says there are over 360 cases of whooping cough in Louisiana. It's an awful disease. Most people know about the gasping, awful cough. Did you know the cough can last FOR MONTHS? I can't imagine seeing my baby - anyone - suffer that much that long. Get vaccinated!

All pregnant patients and their families should be vaccinated to protect the newborn.
