To have Jimmy Carter’s lingering presence in the Capitol for a couple days after Jan 6 anniversary feels like a sanctifying kiss of grace on a wounded and weary soul.

I can’t imagine a bigger contrast of character than Carter and Trump.

Even in death, he actively blesses us with a hope.
