Happy #VirtualRunClub Day #RunningPunks! Got some time in Birmingham today so decided to run halfway to Wolverhampton out along the canal and back. Impressive number of runners out there this morning, plus spotted the RP heron! Tunes from the new Baby Chaos release 🤘

Evening #RunningPunks. It’s been ages since I’ve done a nighttime run in the dark. I think that’s the first time I’ve tried out that chest-torch and I can confirm that it is perfect for drawing out all your slasher-film nightmares as it casts juddering shadows while running through tree tunnels 😳🤘

Happy #VirtualRunClub Day #RunningPunks. The Dengie 100 Runners Sunday social crowd were a bit thin on the ground today, with just three of us around, so we decided to push for a pacy 10k. Tunes on the way back from The Divine Comedy - Regeneration 🤘

Evening #RunningPunks. Stupidly decided to try and squeeze in a warm-up run ahead of the Wednesday night social with the Dengie 100 Runners. Misjudged the route so ended up having to do a fairly fast 5k to make sure I didn’t miss them, then had to do an even faster 5k trying to keep up 🤘

#RunningPunks #VirtualRunningClub representing my real running club, Dengie 100 Runners, at the Burnham-on-Crouch 10k. 1st half was excellent but 2nd half, largely against the wind blowing downriver, was really hard work. Random shuffle playlist was having a laugh with the last couple of tracks🤘

Morning #RunningPunks. Out with the Dengie 100 Runners this morning, testing out the Burnham 10k route ahead of next week’s event. One of the guys was saying he’d never yet managed a sub-50 minute 10k and we reckoned it was well within his grasp, so we chased him round it to spectacular effect 🤘

Turns out we might have pushed him quite hard as I certainly smashed most of my recent times
