In the bathroom a drip irrigation and misting system for the greenhouse and an outdoor shower ( that we will probably end up building for them in the spring)

No it’s a gutter piped into 4 barrels we’re doing 2 inch bulkhead fittings between barrels and an overflow to daylight. Those will go to a pump that we’re putting under the sink in the greenhouse.

We’re doing a one inch feed line off the pump to 2 spigots, the sink in the greenhouse, the sink

It’s a greenhouse, with a composting toilet bathroom ( don’t ask me why I don’t fucking know )

Now the biggest issue I ran into today (remember this is a rescue so we didn’t do the initial stupidity we are just rescuing the project) the stone that was stacked was not made even on the interior so when we hung the door it wouldn’t open all the way, so I got to grind and chip and chisel the rock

We are about to mill some cedar for the set beds

So today we were planning on finishing the exterior but ended up short on lumber to frame in an build the final door so that’s tomorrow

We did get a lot accomplished with building up some stone steps and caulking the interior and exterior

It’s anchored on 8x8 posts at 8 ft deep with concrete the stacked stone’s below the frost line.

Absolutely idiotic idea for a greenhouse due to the whole want it airtight thing but was done prior to our neighbors please help call so 🤷‍♂️

Doing what we can with it

No Idea Joel, the folks who were building the greenhouse for wanted them so 🤷‍♂️

Exterior siding done on the greenhouse build. Absolutely no fun in the rain today

This week we are finishing the exterior siding and the two custom doors then moving to about a months worth of interior work

From a build standpoint. Things we have to keep in mind here are keeping the greenhouse area air tight and keeping the bathroom area in a separate envelope so the moisture/humidity from the greenhouse doesn’t rot the bathroom away or grow mold.

All in all cool project with a lot of challenges

While we are running power to the greenhouse they easily could have done it off grid with solar panels I haven’t worked much with sustainable waste management stuff so this has been a lot of fun for me and I’m learning a lot.

That being said it’s an additional element so another pain in the ass
