Well, I think community would benefit greatly from a DIY P-COM, is whats in the repo enough to re-create one? Or need something else? Is it something you considered making and documenting? Doesnt have to use a web interface to send stuff, can just be a python program.
So a key is unique per device? Or they all share the same key? How does P-COM work? It’s plug and play. I just want to document for community how to make their own with ESP32 or rPi instead of paying $25 for one.
Is there more information on how to find the transfer secret?
Community would benefit greatly from being able to DIY a device like this. Especially now that Jade Forest was announced and will have radically different contents from the other 3 Paradises.
Is there more extensive documentation on how to put this together? The github repo has cool info but also lots of gaps on how to actually put one together. Does software to communicate and play the part already exist somewhere and just need the connection? Or does that need to be written by someone?
I have some ESP32's laying around, is it possible to make it (via USB and soldering to ESP32 pins) to communicate with Tamagothchi Paradise to emulate Tama Labs that exist in some stores? No tama lab near here. If not, can a raspberry pi be used?
Is there a link to the specific ones?
@willsmith.fun @bradshoemaker.bsky.social regarding Ultra 3. I think most people get it for the sapphire glass. No screen protector necessary. Impossible to scratch. There are tempered glass protectors for standard (with built in curves). Check this video on Ultras screen youtu.be/A72Ckh990j0?...

@bradshoemaker.bsky.social @techpod.content.town Gens, FYI the oxygen feature is back only for watch 9, 10. Not to 7 or 8. If you replace battery via Apple you will get a watch back without O2 even though originally they had O2 (this is for 7 and 8)
@bradshoemaker.bsky.social, since you already opened your DBX. Can you post some pictures. Some of us may volunteer to reflow it for you. Primarily need to see the size of the solder points.

This should get WIDE circulation:

Do you really think your game is better than Galaga?

Another is Volkov’s series of books adapting a Wizard of Oz (called Wizard of Emerald City), much better story than Baum original, cooler characters & monsters. And there are like 10 sequels. Book 2 about an army of wooden soldiers, basically Star Wars stormtroopers (but written in 1960’s) was cool.
Dunno on the Moon. A Soviet kids book about a dummy who ends up on the moon, which is a capitalist society (written in 60s in USSR), at the time, living in communism, a story about a capitalist world was a pretty cool adventure, a completely different world. One of the kids becomes a salt baron!

@techpod.content.town re: recent NTP talk. I run my own because this allows me to completely firewall old no longer supported devices (old NAS that are used for backups) and for them to still grab correct time/date for logging (no internal battery and since they are for backups they get powered off)
The thing is, back in the day, on platter drives, Win would get corrupt often, and Anti-Viruses were paid & way worse, browsers were way worse at protecting you. Web was Wild West. All that combined turned your Win install into a WW1 soldier in a trench holding on to life. Things are different now.
I used to reformat every 6 months about 20 years ago. I’m currently on 5 year old Win 10 install and am dreading having to install Win 11 in a few months. System runs perfectly fine (Ryzen 9 3900X, RTX3070, 32GB, nvme SSD). These days I only reformat when I get new CPU/Mobo. Or am forced by new OS.

I knew that Gamersnexus's impending tariff video was going to be big. I didn't know it was "3 hour long documentary on the entire gaming parts industry" big.

Fair enough. Remember back in the day when Intel CPUs came with round aluminum sinks with preapplied circle of paste? That stuff got real crusty after a few years. ArcticClean would cut right through it. These days since you have to BYOC (C=Cooler) we all use the good stuff that doesnt get crunchy.
