Pet insurance was definitely on my list to look into. Thankfully, my workplace offers it :)

My friend did mention multiple litter boxes to avoid them getting upset with one another over nature's call/territory. Thank you for confirming that! And I would 100% be going through a shelter.

I'm looking into getting a couple of fur babies once I get settled in a new place and my finances are in order.

A friend is recommending a cat and others suggest getting a bonded pair so they can keep each other company while I'm at work.

I've worked with cats previously but never owned one.
