Roaming corporate comms consultant in emerging markets. APAC for now.
I listened to a long interview with Nick Fuentes to get a clearer view of his beliefs. And.. 1) its just textbook racism. Classic ignorant bullshit. 2) He is incredibly talented and wraps this ignorance in something that sounds intelligent 3) It is very worrying that he is becoming mainstream.

This is a loss for the US and a gain for a bunch of countries that had “brain drain” problems. But at the same time, a lot of the best talent will probably end up in Europe and China.

I am seriously genuinely wondering why Bluesky isn’t adding any new features? It seems like ages since it happened. Are they just scaling?

Finally getting around to checking out Gavin Newsom's podcast. I gotta be honest, its not that bad as an interview podcast. Considering he just got into being a content creator and interviewer, its fairly decent and feels fairly natural.

Bitcoin continues to be a reliable risk on asset, which is fascinating. It has both staying power but also highly correlated in a very conventional.

I hate to be another NYTimes complainer but why do they explain this in the most unclear and muddled way possible?

Online media constantly gives too much info on people. You eventually realize some of the media personalities you like have cringy views on something that is hard to stomach.

We were better off with the impersonal nightly newshour style media. Keep it professional. No parasocial relationships!

There is opportunity on this list. I am having trouble making a decision though. CZ was at 49% before the pardon happened. If one of these runs up, you can be pretty sure its insider info. polymarket.com/event/who-wi...

I just turned on Apple Intelligence again (to try to test the real time translation on Airpod pro) and its just as bad as when it launched. It actively makes your notifications unreadable. How did they make such a bad product!!?

Uzbekistan's GPD per capita is $3500. It would be a shock to anyone there that the government has this kind of money 😆

Americans tend not to understand what a global phenomenon WhatsApp is. I wish I could invest just in WhatsApp without all the other Zuck AI investment etc. It’s a global utility. Truly amazing. And they are just starting to monetize.

I put ChatGPT settings to be more autistic and just give me answers. But I am doubting my decision now. I am realizing the fake niceness and praise is underrated.

This coverage rarely points out that we have gained nothing. It is not really a trade deal. It’s like a loop getting closer to where we started.

Faced with unprecedented levels of Islamophobia in the final days of Mamdani’s campaign, he releases an Arabic language ad on X. I’m impressed. He just says f the haters. He really does understand contemporary politics like few others in the dem party.

I wonder how Bluesky plans to make money.. I’d pay for some premium features but that doesn’t seem to be on the agenda.
