What is not yet inevitable is that the US will be left behind by the rest of the world--volunteering to give up any chance it has of being a major player in this powerful emerging global industry.

I am against body shaming generally, but this might be the exception to the rule. I would definitely recommend labioplasty here.

I could be remembering incorrectly (it was a long time ago), but I believe Reagan did the same thing with the Iranian hostages--making a deal with the Iranians not to release the hostages until after Carter had left office.

This is at the heart with much of the dissatisfaction of life. Constantly shoveling apps down our throat, or forcing something new down our throats every day. Demanding that we fully participate is some new aspect of modern life we didn't even know existed until a minute ago.

I think it is likely that Trump is envisioning having access to his own private mercenary air force from pilots who have taken no oath to the US Constitution and can take action over American soil.

Strictly what you say is true. In actual effect, however, it is not. SCOTUS just ruled that ICE can use racial profiling. This should be a violation of the 4th amendment. None the less, SCOTUS has "delivered" this authority to Trump. There's ideals--and then there is what actually happens.

My wife was seriously injured while visiting her brother in Toulouse France. She was in surgery for 8 hours and in the hospital for a week after. TOTAL bill: $7500. Insurance is 1/5th of the problem. Actual cost of care is 4/5ths of the problem. Similar procedure in US: $100,000 plus.
