Had a fantastic time at the NANETs meeting presenting both a poster and an oral talk on the transcriptional heterogeneity of differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors 🧬🧪. Our work highlights the limitations of clinical phenotyping and grading while providing insights into tumor biology #NANETs
I Would be interested to see the numbers! Though I would bet it's higher than any other year.
Had a great time at the American Society of Human Genetics meeting seeing all the exciting work advancing the field, and spending time with both mentors and mentees while sharing our new data on epigenetics and pancreatic cancer 🔬🧬🧪 #ASHG
Happy to see the presentation of our recently published work on the genetic analysis of MEP50 and its short isoform, carried out with my mentor Dr. Raul Urrutia. Grateful to see this work featured as a poster at the @geneticssociety.bsky.social meeting. #ASHG🔬🧪
Had a great time presenting my poster at @geneticssociety.bsky.social , showcasing our work on the heterogeneity between pancreatic cancer KRAS mutants at the nuclear and subnuclear level. This project was supported by the AHW Postdoctoral Seed Funding, which made this research possible! #ASHG25 🔬🧪
Definitely an important area for ongoing research! I personally won't be attending this year but I'm sure there'll be great data all around!
🧪The Rise of Early-Onset Cancers conference in Bergamo, Italy (11-13 Nov 2025) is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the biological mechanisms, risk factors, and clinical implications of early-onset cancers: eacr.org/conference/m... #CancerResearch #Oncology

Thank you to the @asbmb.bsky.social organizers for the opportunity to share our work from the Urrutia and Lomberk labs on epigenomic pathways in pancreatic cancer. Grateful to highlight research that aims to uncover new therapeutic targets. 🧪🔬 @pancan.bsky.social @letswinpc.bsky.social
Presented my poster on KRAS mutation heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer at #ASBMB25! Grateful to @ASBMB and everyone who stopped by to chat about the diverse roles of KRAS mutants in PDAC. 🧪🔬

This is absolutely devastating.

My young lab has benefitted from a DOD Pancreatic Cancer Research Program Idea Development Award that allowed me to extend my research program in exciting new directions that wouldn't have happened without this critical support.

Just terrible....
