Eutin State Library. A wealth of texts showing C18th-19th German travellers trying to ‘include’ Islam, often problematically. From the Levant to Turkey, the Maghreb to colonial sub-Saharan Africa, confessional, racial, political, gendered intersections inflected by epoch, traveller and context.

Landed in London. Trained it to the family. Safe and settled for now. I’ll be using a temporary UK mobile number whilst here/ in Germany. That shouldn’t make any difference to those people I talk to on socials and is only for old school calls and SMS.
