In Super Mario Sunshine, each plank of the Pianta Village bridge has separate collision for an unknown reason. This causes microscopic invisible gaps to form between the planks that extremely unfortunate players can slip through and die. Below is a compilation of such cases.

Experimental Post: Crump's Snack
In a battle in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Lord Crump runs backstage to seemingly eat a snack of 5 unseen items. I speculate on what his meal could have been, based on the amount of HP he recovered.

Do you think flat earthers hate Mario Galaxy? This thought brought to you by someone being insufferable with their Wi-Fi access point naming.

An official Mario Kart messaging app sticker contains a one-frame Easter egg. For a fraction of a second during the animation, Mario assumes the same pose he does on the Mario Kart DS box art.

Wish modern Mario Kart had a hybrid drifting mode where you can drift and jump manually if you want to but you can turn sharp enough if you don't want to, like in Mario Kart 64.

There is a humorous error message in Paper Mario: Color Splash. When loading Luigi, the game does a quick "bone check" to see if his position is defined. If he fails his bone check, the developer console prints out "Luigi is elegal!!", likely a misspelling of "Luigi is illegal".

A Luigi's Mansion 2 HD keychain of Polterpup was packaged in such a way in Japan that the white backing and bubble wrap made him practically invisible except for his collar, playing into his ghostly nature. Whether this was deliberate or a serendipitous coincidence is unknown.

In the Forest Secret Area in Super Mario World, there are three 1-Ups after the goal that seem impossible to collect without flying, as walking through the goal destroys them. However, there is an extremely simple trick to get them every time: simply press L before touching the goal.

Any MSFTies who wouldn't mind enlightening me about what Device Interface IDs 919bc09f-b93c-4d4c-80fa-8ed0017d628e and 588c8d20-c0e3-4fd3-b511-8f2f692156f8 are?
They seem to have something to do with new Virtual Camera stuff in Windows 11 and there's 0 docs or headers w/ them 🥲

Mario Party contains an obscure "underwhelming victory" scenario. Normally, the winner is celebrated with a special cutscene and declared Superstar. However, if no stars were obtained, no cutscene plays and all the winner gets is text saying "YOU ARE WINNER" before the game ends.

It does! For example, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe shows that February 2800 has 29 days while February 2900 has 28 days. Thank you very much for your inquiry!

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe includes a calendar that goes all the way to the year 3000. Ironically, this reaches much further than typical modern computer and smartphone calendars. As such, even now Super Mario Bros. Deluxe remains a good option to keep track of far future dates.

I only learned that PeerTube supports reordering playlist videos when I saw a bug report about it being too easy to reorder them with touch. I think there should be a little gripper icon to say you can grab and move the videos. Sadly moving them only works with a mouse, though.

In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.
