Beyond link demotion one really annoying aspect of platforms being walled-gardens is that things like search functionality suck, and even if there IS valuable content in that garden, you can't find it.

And if it were open, a company focused on Search would be able to make said garden more valuable.

Nice Pinot Noir. And the Fenders Blue butterfly is a strong signal to me that these are folks who care about conservation.

The Fenders Blue butterfly was pushed to near extinction but has returned to the Willamette Valley due to restoration efforts to plant Lupine, which the butterfly relied on.

I used to solidly be the better cook in the house but Colleen is hyper competitive so I don't know anymore.

Tonight she made a vegan "beef bourguignon" with mashed potatoes and herbs from the garden — with a local Pinot.

Our ground is SUPER uneven. Plus moles and gophers, and dogs digging lol.

Moe gets stuck occasionally and you go out and just nudge him and press restart — and fill the hole.

So in that way we've eliminated a lot of trip hazards over time, and it's getting smoother.

Moe gets to the entire 2 acres over the course of several days or so, and then just starts the cycle over again. Could go nights too for quicker coverage but for now we keep it mostly to 5am-9pm.
