Routine is a small, anthropomorphic cat character with mostly white fur and light blue markings around their cheeks, ears, and tail tip. They wear a sky-blue sailor-style romper featuring a yellow-trimmed neckline and a matching bow at the front. Their eyes are a pale blue, and they have small pink blush spots on their cheeks and a little pink nose. Their paws are in the same blue as their shorts, which are mostly hidden by the oversized romper, and their legs and paws fade from white at the top to blue at the bottom.
