Got our ground source heat pumps up and running yesterday. Operating at a paltry ~650% efficiency! PS we had two installed (and are 3-phase).

Death is a thief, it takes and keeps all that a person is, the person was, and was going to be! 17 years ago now. Sad to think about all he has missed in that time!

Very excited to be releasing this open-source dataset for use by power planners and modelers, alike. This will fill a gap in data needs for long term planning and resource adequacy studies!

If we had started reducing emissions in 2000 the world would have had a gentle slope downward to limit warming to well-below 2C.
23 years later we face a steep decent to limit warming to 2C, and a near-cliff to achieve 1.5C without substantial net-negative global emissions.
