I'm a keen astrophotographer with several scopes and a Dome. I image mainly deep sky objects and also contibute to the AAVSO variable stars program. I also participate in several astro clubs and like to spread the word about this fascinating hobby.
Its towering pillars of gas and dust stretch across 100 light-years. A cradle of starbirth, it’s a testament to the universe’s relentless creativity—nature’s own monument to the eternal dance of chaos and beauty. #nebula

Deep in the heart of the Carina-Sagittarius Arm, 9,000 light-years from Earth, lies a cosmic marvel: the Statue of Liberty Nebula (NGC 3576). Its towering pillars of gas and dust resemble a celestial torch of freedom against the infinite dark. #astrophotgraphy
Deep in the heart of the Carina-Sagittarius Arm, 9,000 light-years from Earth, lies a cosmic marvel: the Statue of Liberty Nebula (NGC 3576). This stunning emission nebula, sculpted by fierce stellar winds from young, massive stars, glows with the fiery hues of ionized hydrogen and oxygen. In Ursa Major’s embrace, M81, Bode’s Galaxy, gleams—a grand spiral muse 12 million light-years distant. Her luminous arms dance with M82, a celestial duet, whispering secrets of the cosmos to starlit souls below. #Astrophotography #galaxy please ♥️RP and follow
Drifting 5,000 light-years away in Gemini, the Jellyfish Nebula (IC 443) glows with cosmic beauty—a supernova remnant stretching 70 light-years wide. Its tendrils of gas and dust are a stellar masterpiece. #astronomy #space #nebula #astrophotography
Staring at the Pinwheel Galaxy (M101) tonight—21M light-years away in Ursa Major. Its spiral arms glow with star-forming regions. #astrophotography #astrophotographyrocks #galaxies
The Orion Nebula (Messier 42) is located in the constellation Orion, approximately 1,344 light-years from Earth. This is a Narrow Band Image Ha/OIII/SII shot with ASI294MM and Esprit 100ED. #astrophotography #Astronomy Plse ♥️and RP
Pickering's Triangle is a delicate filamentary structure within the Veil Nebula, a large supernova remnant in Cygnus. It is named after Edward Charles Pickering the director of the Harvard College Observatory. #Astrophotography #nebula Please ♥️and RP
The Hercules Galaxy Cluster (Abell 2151) is a rich cluster of galaxies in the Hercules constellation. It is known for its diverse mix of spiral, elliptical, and irregular galaxies. #astrophotography #galaxies please ❤️and RP
The Tulip Nebula (Sharpless 101 or Sh2-101) is a beautiful emission nebula in the Cygnus constellation. It gets its name from its resemblance to a blooming tulip.

You can recover this problem by creating a synthetic flat that will eliminate the blotches and doughnuts. I've had this when dew overcame my heaters or I reframed/rotated the camera and forgot to retake the flats.
The #Carina Nebula (NGC 3372) is one of the Milky Way's largest, brightest, and most dynamic star-forming regions. Pixinsight was used to stack and process the 12 hours of LRGB data. #astrophotography #astro
Half Moon image taken with unmodified Canon 600D camera at prime focus on Bresser 127L achromatic refractor: 10x 1/80th second shots stacked and processed in Affinity Photo 2. Please ❤️ and RP
The Iris Nebula (NGC 7023) is a reflection nebula in Cepheus. I created this image using my Celestron Edge 800 HD telescope and ASI294mm pro camera from 76x 3-minute exposures. This gave a total integration time of 3.9 hours - processed in Pixinsight. #astrophotography Please ❤️and RP
hi kat thanks - blobbed out on the stars though. Tricky getting the colours right.
The Rosette Nebula is an ionized hydrogen gas and dust region in the Monoceros constellation. I captured the image on a moonlit night (65%)with Ha/OIII/SII filters. The scope was an Esprit 100ED and 100x 60-second pics for each filter. #Astrophotography Please ❤️and RP
The Flame Nebula (NGC 2024) is a glowing region of gas and dust located in the constellation Orion near the bright star Alnitak. It is part of the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, including the Horsehead Nebula and Orion Nebula. #Astrophotography #nebula Please ❤️ and RP
The Triangulum Galaxy (M33) is a stunning spiral galaxy in the small northern constellation Triangulum. It is one of the closest galaxies to the Milky Way and an important member of the Local Group of galaxies. #astrophotography #space please 🩷and RP
The Christmas Tree Cluster is an open cluster in Monoceros. It is part of a region that includes nebula and star-forming clouds. It gets its name because its shape resembles the shape of a Christmas tree when viewed from Earth #Astrophotography, pls 🩷 and RP
The Trifid Nebula (Messier 20) is a complex Nebula in the constellation Sagittarius about 4,100 light-years from Earth and spans about 50 light-years. It is about 28 arcminutes wide in the sky roughly the size of the full moon. #Astrophotography #space please ❤️ and RP
M15 (NGC 7078) is a remarkable globular cluster in the constellation Pegasus lying about 33,600 light-years away from Earth. It’s one of the oldest and most densely packed globular clusters known. Please ❤️and RP
The Rho Ophiuchi complex is a molecular cloud and star-forming region, containing areas of both dark, reflection and emission nebulae where ionized gas glows due to energetic radiation. This image was processed in #pixinsight from 6 hours of RGB data #Astrophotography Please ❤️ and RP
