How convenient that #portfolioday is upon us here. So I can post an intro about my long term projet (ie it will never get finished) : The Chronicles of Circadia a mythical place that I made up about 15 years ago.
Yok Hui : we need tools to get rid of the snow
Me : all we need is a flock of Drakes… wheeee!

I saw it in the theatre when it came out. I was 14. It’s one of my absolute cult movies.
Oof! A big inspiration for me as a young illustrator back in the day. He also designed the album cover of Welcome To My Nightmare for Alice Cooper.
Ok. Now I have that song in my head. Thanks.
I need to know more about characters before I feel like drawing them, I'm starting to get a feel for the personality of Thimble. Anyway, here's to campaign 4 of Critical Role. Thimble, Fairy Rogue, played by Laura Bailey. #criticalrole #criticalrolecampaign4 #criticalrolefanart

I’m looking for work again, being not-so-slowly replaced by ChatGPT, and feeling unusually despondent about this time because what little there is out there is merely computer bullshit or ways to flatter rich people, which I’ve never had the talent in. This is the first time I’ve been scared 🫤
The people who shape opinion in mainstream media are mostly from the upper middle and wealth classes. They got there because of nepotistic privilege and they keep their jobs, and make more money, because they tell the wealthy what they want to hear, even as that becomes more and more fascistic.
It’s been happening for a while now. There are even cases of censorship “editing” existing content.
Bah je me suis fait devancer avec ce commentaire.
I sure hope this person never needs medical attention. Or dont mind if the doctor isn’t competent. Sadly they can probably afford private care
Oh no! I know that feeling that’s rough. Indeed such a function would be a life saver.
I fet that way, decades ago when I saw originals by Moebius. The greatest lesson in drawing ever.
Possibly finished. Hard to be sure with these things.
I mostly read the Guardian for George Monbiot’s articles. Their coverage of the climate crisis is still credible and informative. Last week I attended their online conference which was interesting but too focused on the UK while several hundred people attended from all over the world.
There’s a Tabaxi Paladin?! Oh yes please! I’ve been hoping to see a Tabaxi
Et moi qui joue avant tout pour l’histoire: « whyyyy?! » 😂
I had to tell a story based on illustrations with words. I mean… when is that not a daily occupation?
Apparently I didn’t “word” correctly because of course I forgot to mask and project fake emotions while before being absorbed by actual emotions.
I also recently called them out here for posting ableist shit. Their scientific column is something I often use for work. But there is a lot of dangerous language in their editorial line.
Oh là là, je me rappelle de cette « série ». Tellement cool!
I knew this was going to be hard given that I either use similar colours or never stick to more monochrome gamuts even if I try. #the_colour_wheel #art
I wonder if it’s also so they can’t be sued when their program pushes a kid to end their lives. They want others to believe that their tool is autonomous so that they can relieve themselves of responsibility.
Please don’t perpetuate the ableist narrative of the “super power”. It’s really not helping. We have skills like everyone else. We’re not circus animals. Finding a place in society should be a given for all disabled people. Not a one off that is paraded in an ableist manner. #nothingaboutuswithoutus
I often tell people that I don’t really care how they pronounce my name, as long as the letters are in the correct order. Thing is, I myself have no idea how it’s pronounced and I don’t think I could even do it while speaking in French or English.
