This has been where I'm at lately also. It's getting harder to tell what is and isn't AI (sometimes) and it sucks having to meet every new with mistrust rather than the joy of discovery.

The crumbling of creator rights
The destroying of the environment and infrastructure
But it's also the destroying of trust in anything that you’re not seeing with your own eyes right in front of you.
Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical.
Questioning the realness of everything from a stilted written apology to profound works by students in school.
It feels like a slow poison to creativity and humanity at large.

Really great thread and I agree with all of it.
That said: It kills me that things are this way. People *should* find success if they work for it. Lots of talented people don't get what they deserve and that sucks big time! Life isn't fair but I will never not be bothered about it!

I always say that hard work buys you a lotto ticket, but luck still draws it. Plenty of really talented people will never ever find success. There are things you can do to buy additional lotto tickets like making connections and showing up, but luck will always, always be a factor.
