A couple of years ago we started helping a team called StreamWolf. They wanted to build an app that would give people one place to stay on top of all their streaming subscriptions.

Lesson two: keeping screenshots up to date is not a good use of anyone's time.

Every time we changed a button or moved a sidebar, we’d break half our docs and marketing visuals.

Light mode, dark mode, different screen sizes, demo data — the matrix was endless.

Lesson 1: When two nutters build an enterprise SaaS single- (double-?) handedly, there’s only one way they sleep at night: tests.

I vibe-coded the water simulation on opensurf.ai

It's put me in a weird place on the LLM hype-cycle — both incredibly bullish and deeply skeptical.

But given I know almost nothing about graphics programming, I’m still amazed by what came out of it.

Five years ago, Dom and I quit our comfy jobs to build a SaaS product called Estii.

We poured our hearts into it, had a blast, and learnt a ton.

I’m still blown away by the breadth and quality of what the two of us were able to ship in such a short time.

I'm just testing that this thing works.
