Now that my preplanned, prepaid runs are over … I’m going to take a solid two weeks off running due to my shin splints and then start training for some runs I’m probably not actually going to do 😂

I was not very happy with my run this morning. I mean, I’m happy I did it and proud of myself for finishing but my time was terrible. So I’m reminding myself of a truth of any sport: sometimes the best you can do in the moment is crap. But as long as you have your all, that’s ok

My brother told us all it was National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day so I got ice cream and that fool forgot! 😂

What’s especially great here is that I wrote “the English” because I initially said “the English language” but the the post was too long so I took the word language out but didn’t correct the rest of that sentence 😂
I was reading about the English being confusing and it reminded me of my sister’s FIL who made a comment about Kansas and Ar-Kansas and both she and her husband said “actually it’s ar-kan-saw” and her FIL was like “what? Why?” And I’m pretty sure they just shrugged and were like “English, amiright?”

I let my cat Grimora lick the leftover egg yolk from my plate so she always stares at me while I eat, waiting (im)patiently for me to finish.
So anyway, when I was done I set my plate on the floor. Grimmy sat on the coffee table glaring at me … so naturally I moved the plate. 😂

Daily dose of cat. This is Stilton, Gouda’s brother (they are both cheeses, incidentally, because Cheese brought them home as babies. Which was a bit of a surprise since Cheese is male, but cheers to good father figures, whether feline or otherwise)
