I’m not aware of anybody who has written that the release is a bad thing. The point being made was that the release is a good thing and that it’s good that those people are now free.

You’ve got the correct response to that. There’s nothing bad about the remaining hostages being released. While it’s entirely true that their release doesn’t bring back any Palestinian children from the dead, the release of the the Israeli’s held hostage or prisoner is a manifestly good thing.
I really like how the Germans have approached the problem of historical remembrance. In Hamburg, beside a monument celebrating an infantry regiment that was erected after the First World War, are two monuments - one to the victims of the holocaust and one with an anti-war theme that were erected.
I wouldn’t abolish the private prisons. I’d merely stick every single goddamned member of the Trump administration and every single member of of ICE in those private prisons and leave them in them for the rest of their lives. And the cost should be born not by the taxpayer but by the billionaires.

Imagine the number of people in Gaza who have seen their families, including infants and children, murdered by the Israeli military. Now I wonder how many amongst them are looking to a future opportunity for vengeance against Israeli’s and any other country that has supported or stood by.

That’s true after listening it. However reading between the lines of what was said, there was a sub-text there that was to a great extent consistent with the general direction of the post.
