Hmmm, we thought you hadn’t noticed the earlier bedtimes. We assumed the extra warm formula with dinner and the sleepy lavender powder in your diaper was making you sleepy enough you just went down for bed a little sooner because you “needed” it….

We clearly need to work a bit harder for “dad time”

He trialed the full belt by borrowing one and then went out of his way to secure the bits needed to make it all work for him, so we’re pretty sure he prefers that now!

But sometimes practicality is more important and he has to use the small plastic ones. He gets to choose which one, based on need

When we let little guy down from his high chair, he asked if he could have an early bum change because he was so soggy! One thick nappy, some boosters, and a pair of jammies later and he was ready for some pre bedtime telly

It creates the Echo Chamber of Broken Hitachis (heck of a band name) and makes us think that’s where the world is going, because the soft boys are just quietly there in the background looking adorable and cuddling Mr Teddles quietly whilst chewing a Duplo.

I feel that sadly this is a case where the social media ecosystem pushes all of those things on you (a bit like the sheer volume of right wing opinions that seem to shout out the left) and that it drowns out the softer cuddlier people who are every much still there. They’re just not as loud

Some last shots of little guy from the weekend.

The dads were fitting a new bigger shower for er… dad reasons. So little guy spent most of the weekend in the playpen safely away from all the tools and dust.
