Been playing videogames since I was a toddler, watched a lot of 90s and older cartoons, Disney, etc, and something woke me up to how amazing art is when I saw Pixar's Up in 2009. Did a really high effort (at the time) fanart drawing and completely surprised myself. Went to art school and left cuz $$

Lots and lots of very rich, pump and dump business folks really said "let's use the entire public Internet to cultivate spam robots with plagiarized everything until we stop feeling like people are what's on the internet"

I'm biased towards not hating McKenzie in Metroid partially because people on the internet kneejerked so much hatred before the game came out that it seemed absurd. He's fine, but it is genuinely weird how much of his dialogue is unprovoked "you should go here next" talking directly at the player

It took a while, but Metroid Prime 4 is starting to hit its stride. Really slow start and the narrative delivery is a bit awkward in patches. Samus doesn't really have a good reason to be silent when she has NPCs talking to her, but she just kinda

Metroid Prime 4 stunts with the camera during the morph ball segments are so conspicuously nifty. I almost want to be annoyed, but it's just kinda fun, lol
