As the LAST thing I need is a more expensive addiction, I'm relieved to see Fluevog doesn't make shoes in my size.
Yes, I have very weird feet (3 junior wide).
The fact that I can buy DM 1460 boots mail order and know that they'll immediately fit me perfectly is why they get so much of my money.

Early editions of our JS VQS book had a full chapter on debugging. Based on the questions I received, it became clear to me that no one ever read that chapter.

Apple laptops originally had the apple facing the user.
At one point they realized this meant that, from the point of view of everyone looking at the user, the lit-up apple was upside down. They then flipped it so it displays right-side-up to everyone else… which still confuses us long-time users.

In years past, I've judged each outfit on my "send to the guillotine/send to an art gallery" scale. So far, there are far fewer of the former than there have been in previous years.
