I wonder if prosecutors will use Bolton’s comments about Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information against him at his trial?

How it started:

"Clinton tries to minimize the seriousness of her error by arguing... that having hundreds of her emails wholly or partly redacted before release is nothing but “classification in retrospect.” This dodge is either deceitful or utterly uneducated." - John Bolton

I don't understand why the coverage of this incident gives credence to the claim that the Congressman needs law enforcement to get to the bottom of this. The American flag desecrated with a swastika was in his employee's cubicle! In view of his employee!

11. From on or about April 9, 2018, through on or about September 15, 2019, on a

regular basis, BOLTON sent diary-like entries to Individuals 1 and 2 that contained information classified up to the TOP SECRET/SCI level. BOLTON wrote many of these diary-like entries by transcribing his handwritten notes from his day's activities into word processing documents, which

he then electronically sent to Individuals 1 and 2 through a commercial non-governmental

messaging application. On other occasions, BOLTON used his personal non-governmental email accounts, such as email accounts hosted by AOL and Google, to email information classified up to the TOP SECRET/SCI level to Individuals 1 and/or 2 at their personal email accounts. At no point did BOLTON have authorization to store or transmit the classified information that he sent to

Individuals 1 and 2 via his personal electronic devices and accounts. Nor did, at any time, Individuals 1 or 2 have authorization to know or store the classified information that BOLTON

gave to them.

@kenwhite.bsky.social is it generally a good idea for a client and their personal confidants, while sharing TS/SCI information as an extralegal kitchen-NSC of sorts, to put in writing things such as "None of which we talk about!!!", "Shhhhh.", and "More to come with cloak and dagger..." ?

Judge Sooknanan gave 3 adverse instructions against the government.

1) The FBI victim's testimony was inconsistent.
2) They provided evidence belatedly.
3) Self defense/excessive force.

This is why a credible US Attorney would have dropped the case.

www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...
Instruction # 24: EVALUATION OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT STATEMENT OF A
WITNESS
You have heard evidence that Agent Bates made a statement on an earlier occasion and
that this statement may be inconsistent with her testimony here at trial. It is for you to decide
whether the witness made such a statement and whether in fact it was inconsistent with the
witness’s testimony here. If you find such an inconsistency, you may consider the earlier statement
in judging the credibility of the witness, but you may not consider it as evidence that what was
said in the earlier statement was true. Instruction # 23: LATE DISCLOSURE OR NON-DISCLOSURE OF EVIDENCE
The Court has found that the Government made late disclosures of certain video evidence
and text messages to the Defendant. As a result, the Defendant did not have the opportunity to
investigate that evidence and possibly present additional evidence related to that video evidence
and text messages. You may consider the Government’s failure to timely disclose that evidence
and give it as much weight as in your judgment it deserves. Instruction # 22: SELF DEFENSE
Every person has the right to use a reasonable amount of force in self-defense if she
(1) actually and reasonably believes that the use of force was necessary to defend herself against
the immediate use of excessive force, and (2) uses no more force than was reasonably necessary
in the circumstances. The question is not whether looking back on the incident you believe that
the use of force was necessary. The question is whether Ms. Reid, under the circumstances as they
appeared to her at the time of the incident, used no more force than was reasonably necessary to
defend against what Ms. Reid actually and reasonably believed to be excessive force by Officer
Liang and Agent Bates. You should evaluate the reasonableness of Ms. Reid belief based on both
what she knew and what she reasonably could have determined from the surrounding
circumstances. Self-defense can provide a complete defense to the charge here.

Sydney Reid acquitted.

This was a case where someone filming was assaulted, and then arrested and charged with felony assault.

The grand jury no billed that, so they took her to trial on a misdemeanor charge. There were a bunch of discovery problems.

And now this.

Kudos to the FPDS!
A verdict form for Sydney Lori Reid. She was found Not Guilty.
