This is my bass guitar. It is an awesome bass guitar. The best I've ever owned. Sounds great for slapping. Plays like butter. I love it to bits.

I will say this heartily: FUCK MICROSOFT.

I've been editing in Davinci Resolve now for maybe 3 years, I think.
Gotta say, I'm always impressed by the fact that any problem I run into with an edit can usually be fixed with one of the app's built in tools. But my god, when Resolve bugs out, it's INFURIATING.

Folks, don't do this to people. Retail staff are doing a thankless task, and you benefit from them being there whether you realise it or not.

New PC has arrived and proved a ROYAL pain to get up and running properly.
There are some really stupid issue sin setting up a new Win 11 machine, not helped by the folks I bought it from failing to provide basic info in a direct fashion.
Still, it's all working properly now.

Well, this morning I learned that noise gates are really not all their cracked up to be for recording podcast audio.
It seems like unless you REALLY know what you're doing with them, they introduce audio issues like pops and clicks where you don't want them. That's annoying.

I stayed up late to watch the finale of Alien: Earth.
That was a bit of a middling finale, in my opinion. But it did what a season ending should do - namely, pose some questions, dish out some character information and seed some possibilities for where a follow up season might go.

I've been feeling properly sluggish for the last couple of weeks. But somehow today I managed to record and fully process a 17 minute podcast.
That'll go up when game sessions start appearing. And we're not far off from that at all now. I have one edit to finish first.
