Tonight is cool and rainy. Most of the snow will be gone by morning. (Cross your fingers it doesn’t get replaced by ice!)

So I am sitting by the heater spinning some blending board gigantic rolags.

What are you doing tonight? Anything fiber related?

Blended rolag of merino, vegan silk, mulberry silk, sari silk, tussah silk, and viscose.

Don’t let the pretty fool you - I really don’t like it. The rolags were a last resort.

Hey #FiberFriends and #YarnLovers and #HandSpinners!

Just finished a little #DropSpindle spin. It’s been plied-on-the-fly so this is 3ply. But uh…I’ve never had two turtles before? How do I join them? Do I not join them? Do I just…knit and join them together as I knit?? I was going to wet set them.

I love #BellsHells because this nerdy ass group of voice actors are a joy to watch. However this campaign wasn’t about the characters for me. It will always be about @matthewmercer.bsky.social for his world building and all of these chickens coming home to roost.

#TheMightyNein will probably always be my favourite. Caleb’s story and @voiceofobrien.bsky.social attention to detail with the Tower and Caleb’s epilogue were absolutely stunning.
#Cadeuces and Taliesin had their fantastic moments as well (like a perfectly timed tidal wave! 🤣)

And it seems silly to say it like that, but it’s true.

The beautiful people of @criticalrole.bsky.social helped me get through the pandemic, which when I started watching. #VoxMachina gave me a reason to laugh and look forward to tomorrow for the next episode. It also inspired me to learn DnD.

So I am a huge #CriticalRole fan. I have caught up and watched (almost) all of the one shots and all of that. I’m even going to Fjord and Jester’s wedding in October. ❤️

I have crap dirt. Won’t even call it soil even after years of trying to fix it.

I think I’m heading in an “mixed assortment” configuration.

#Gardening question for the masses:
I have about 60 of these raised bed bricks. They are about 10" (25.4cm) across and 5.5" (14cm) tall. I grow in USA #Zone5b. My first idea was double stacking these to get 10" deep #raisedbeds. Should I mix&match the beds, go all short, or stick with the deep bed?

My personal opinion is that well meaning people are planting milkweed in their backyards, but not a lot of other pollinator friendly spaces for the adults to thrive on. :(

I can't wait to replant my yard this year to grow my groceries and help the pollinators.

What would you suggest as an alternative to this option? My local area does not have anything like the juice shops suggested. The local grocery stores have also stopped allowing people to take their unsellable produce.

I do have a coffee shop to get grounds from though!

I’m starting a garden this year. It was always the plan but now it feels like I’m way behind.

Raised beds since I have zero friable soil…

Maybe we can rebrand the “Victory” garden into a “Resistance” garden?
