Avoid recurring UTIs: stay hydrated, fully empty your bladder, address prostate issues, care for catheters post-surgery, avoid antibacterial soaps on genitals, and see a urologist for persistent infections. #menshealth #urology #bladderhealth

A #UTI can become serious if ignored. Seek medical help for fever, chills, back pain, nausea, vomiting, blood in urine, or trouble urinating, as these may indicate an infection. UTI in men are never normal; identifying the cause is crucial. #menshealthexpert #urology #bladderhealth

One of the primary risk factors for failure is the duration since the vasectomy. The longer the time, the worse the outcome.

Vasectomy reversals are one of the more technically challenging andrological procedures. A clinician undertaking this should be trained ideally in microsurgery, or at the very least, use loupes. Again, the right hands have been trained right

It is imperative that patients are given full informed consent including failure rates

However, any medical procedure not performed correctly will have a higher failure rate. Vasectomy has a very low failure rate (late failure risk 1:2000) if performed correctly, but I do agree failure can occur despite gold standard treatment
