The issue with making clothing gifts for people is you wont know how it fits on them till you give it to them lol... I'll be pestering my friends and partner for their measurements, but thats all i can do. Its my first time making garments for someone else...! I hope it goes okay!!

Next projects for Christmas presents: some wearable items for friends (not descriptive lmfao), dog heating pack for my roommates, climbing pants for my partner (hopefully these turn out well...) and maybe some cross-stitch and embroidery for my parents and brother... gotta start this now!

Since I can't wear lolita as often, I've been engaging with it differently. I've been re-reading GLBs, articles and blog posts more often, drawing lolita coords i really enjoy, and sewing simple pieces when I have time between work and school. It's been fun and fulfilling!!

It's really hard to justify buying second hand lolita nowadays with all the scalping... at this point, it might be better to just buy from the brand before the scalpers can get their nasty grippers on it...
