Ich hab im Stadtbild kein Problem mit nix, aber wenn ich in meinem Medienbild diese rassistische Hackfresse sehe und ihr sogar noch dabei zuhlören muss, wie sie rassistischen Kackscheiß äußert, das ist immer ganz schlimm. Aber wer die CDU gewählt hat, wollte das offenbar so. Ist mir unverständlich.

I think the noun 'disconnect' has become so popular because it can be used in an equally vague manner as 'problem' (i.e. without stating what the problem is about), but you somehow sound more sophisticated and technical.

i think the fundamental disconnect here, and i say this as an engineer without much creative talent, is that a lot of people who don't do creative things regularly (or ever) look at creative output (writing, music, whatever) as a product, and consume and experience it like a baby looking at a mobile

Ich mein, auf einer ganz fundamentalen Ebene ging es dabei von Anfang an nicht darum, Probleme die schon existieren zu lösen oder zusammen kooperativ Lösungen zu finden, sondern was zu entwickeln mit dem man Geld machen und Macht erringen kann.

It's true! When I studied economics, I was stunned by the ROI of social programs. Every dollar spent on childcare returns about $2.80 to the economy, and healthcare delivers even greater returns with broader social impact.

A universal basic income is simply smart fiscal policy. Why the reluctance?

For every €1 provided through a Basic Income For Artists pilot program in Ireland, the government got €1.46 back. So it’s being made permanent.

Over and over we see it. It saves public money to provide public housing. And it makes public money to provide basic income.

We can’t afford to NOT do it.

Mein Tumor war auch nicht tastbar, hat erst die Mammographie gefunden. Geht zur Mammographie, sistas. Gerne auch schon mal vor dem dafür vorgesehenen Alter (50). Man kann mit Überweisung selbst Termine machen.

Es ist mir ein Rätsel, warum bei Landwirten nicht der Kampf gegen den Klimawandel absolute Priorität über alles hat. Vor allem bei jenen, die ihren Hof an die nächste Generation weitergeben wollen. Der Bauerverband müsste stramm grün sein, wenn er wirklich die Interessen vertreten würde.
