After 43 days, the longest government shutdown in U.S. history is over....FOR NOW
Even though I'm very disappointed in the 8 Senate Dems & 6 House Dems for voting for this so called "deal" which will only keep the government open for the next 11 weeks until January 30th.

Veterans Day is a time for reflection, gratitude & recognition. Today reminds us the freedoms we enjoy were secured through sacrifice. It’s our ongoing responsibility to not only offer thanks, but also ensure that every veteran receives the care & respect they deserve even after their service ends.

Americans trusted their Senators to fight for them in the face of rising healthcare costs. But instead, Dem. Senators just caved, for nothing. This is literally life & death for millions of Americans, but Schumer can't even hold this line. It is inexcusable. We deserve better.
