It`s a fun read, I had a phase when I read ALL of it a few years ago and I own a special edition of the first era of the comic (on the picture) so I am a big fan I guess :)

Usagi Yojimbo! It`s a comic. You may seen Usagi in TMNT cartoons, he was a guest character in like 3 of those.
Usagi is usually in a medival Japan setting, but it was just announced that there will be a comic about him in the 80`s

Big news for NYCC! My pub & Walmart put out an exclusive look at the new series Usagi Yojimbo: Kaitō ‘84 w/ an ashcan showing some pages, process and a sneakpeak at character models. Stop by the Walmart booth and grab a copy! Saturday the legend, Stan Sakai will be signing them!

Don't get me wrong, I love this guy. The only reason he is still part of the story in the rewrite is because I really wanted to give his heartbreak from canon more depth and actual resolution

The problem with spikes is that they are just in one place and seem random.
The gills are weird in the show, sometimes they look like gills and other times like his pattern. I will just give him gills on the neck.
And the sock is stupid, I'm sorry, I can't think of it any other way :D

The next on my list is Lagoon Boy and the more I look at him the more questions I have.
What is going on with his shorts? He wears a sock with pockets?
Why is there random spikes on his shoulders and nowhere else? Why his limbs look like he has a shell? Where are his gills??

Blue Beetle and Impulse for the rewrite are ready!! I`m kind of proud of how Jaime turned out.
This are the last kids I needed to do for the Team, with Jason and Roy both being ready before. Maybe I will draw all four of them together at some point.
