Sermon: “No King But Christ”

(Matthew 24:23 · Hosea 8:4 · Revelation 19:16)

As The Independent reported (Oct 18 2025), the president shared an AI video of himself crowned and flying a “King Trump” jet, dumping brown liquid on “No Kings” protesters. But what the world calls satire, Scripture calls a sign.

Jesus warned, “If anyone says, ‘Look, here is the Anointed One!’ do not believe them.” When leaders crown themselves or demand worship, they echo Babylon, not Bethlehem. “They have set up kings, but not by Me,” says the Lord.

The “No Kings” movement is not rebellion against order—it is rejection of idolatry. Christ alone wears the crown. The cross, not conquest, defines our King.

When men exalt themselves as saviors, remember: our allegiance is to the Lamb, not to any throne of this world. ✝️
