Yes, I knew it had nothing to do with Lifting or Creatively Anachronistic Societies.
Whenever we go to visit my wife's family in Colombia, I can't wait to order Tipico in their region of Antioquia.

Am I in the minority for loving these lands?
Wait, you can Sacrifice England to draw a card?
Ohhh, "The Princess Bride". Am I right?
Timothar sounds like a nickname from Southpark.
From childhood kids learn division. They are defined by their:
country, religion, school, neighborhood, city, region,
sports team, hobbies, gender, race (phenotype expressions) etc.

Kids learn us and them, not "ALL OF US".

My mind has suddenly retroactively applied Crim saying "That's Rough Buddy" in numerous podcasts. Or, am I simply remembering him saying this already?

Memory is so confusing sometimes.
EDH is dead. Long Live Commander.

Remember folks, Commander was a WOTC product, before the format was renamed from EDH to Commander.
I am glad my 11 year old daughter gets these. YAY! I'm OLD

I can cast Avacyn or Ajani, and they never trigger and Transform. For that game they were only ever a White Spell. These are white creature cards in every zone when not transformed.

However, Kitchen Finks is from moment the game starts and in every zone of the game, a White-Green creature card.
My question is why Hybrid cards, which clearly have two or more mana symbols and are always 2 or more colors are being considered to be only one color for Deckbuilding in EDH, when these cards that have only have one color of Mana on them are still being considered MultiColor for deckbuilding?
@rebell.bsky.social in this Hybrid Mana discussion another question has arisen.

What about the Transform cards?

These cards have just ONE MANA symbol anywhere on the card, yet they are considered the color of the front and back.

These cards were only ever designed to be cast with White mana.
In the HYBRID discussion, what about transform cards that ONLY need one color of MANA (ever)? Why aren't these allowable based solely on their front?

Virginian here. We have been fighting to get out from under the Yoke of the oppressive and vocal minority for a bit now. Unfortunately my district is staying red, despite the efforts of my friends and family.

I love the Genesys (Fantasy Flight) game system for example, but don't like Star Wars. With separate mechanics I can do Fantasy, Cyberpunk, Vampire the Masquerade, Mage the Ascension - without all the Star Wars in the way.
I always want the rules/mechanics of a system separate from the adventures, campaign, etc. This allows me agnostic use of the system for my own campaign, without another world/campaign taking up space.
Same with a campaign, sometimes that is a great idea, and I want different system for it.
"Lawful Evil Game Designer" - you didn't reference your source.
These where both meant to be cast with only white and played in a mono-white deck. Unlike Hybrid spells, they have no Mana symbols other than white.

Yet these are boros for EDH rules?

I think these are more deserving of the Hybrid conversation than Hybrid. (2/2)
