Hastings Creek Trail’s central section is now permanently closed.

We understand this trail has been loved and well‑used for generations, and we share the community’s sadness about its closure. However, safety is our top priority, and the effects of erosion can no longer be mitigated.

We’ve launched a pilot program to use wireless clips to repair the locks and lids on our carts. This means faster repairs and improved safety for our crews, without changing the sturdy metal clips you’re used to.

Please don’t modify your carts or use DIY fixes.
