art is for fun and self-expression. instead of making it a contest, we should look to each other as inspiration and guides. and be kind to ourselves and others, because everyone is different and learns at their own pace. it's not a race. there is no "best". there just is art.

A barrier cannot stop you if it doesn't exist (that and I have to admit I have somehow still not played past Sky SC so I know next to nothing about Lloyd lol)
You could maybe have Leonis be his full name and Leo be a nickname Rita gave him or something like that?
A bit late to this but how did you come up with the name Cyrus for him? Any specific reason you chose that name?
I'm sorry but I absolutely had to add Vinny Vinesauce to this
Thanks! Originally wanted to make Adol and make him a Weaver, basically a sword mage but that's a DLC class sadly.

And yeah I have to agree, I definitely liked Hugo's story the most, though gameplay wise it was a bit of a button mash haha
Here's a bit of a toughie, top 5 Falcom songs?
Ey, Hugo top 10, don't know why I like him so much, maybe because I'm currently making him in Guild Wars 2, just ignore that I made him look like every other human in this game but blonde lol (and his clothes, Fashion Wars starts at level 80)
To complement the other reply, favorite 5 Ys boyos? (Excluding Adol, we know where he's placed at)
Me immediately going to the higher level area in Ys Seven that I'm definitely NOT supposed to be in at this point in the game:
Man, I've been sleeping on Phantom Spell, they've been stuck in my head for the past 3 days straight. Here's their previous album, not a single bad song on it, though I'd have to say "Up the Tower" is my favorite followed closely by "Dawn of Mind" and "Seven Sided Mirror" in 2nd and 3rd respectively
If you see this post a random picture from your device without explaining it
I lied, here's another Wplace post. Ys X Adol and Karja in Carnac that I drew myself, still like the way they turned out even if Adol is looking a bit jank.

Oh it’s bandcamp Friday again! Feel free to grab anything from the back catalogue, safe in the knowledge that any sales will be going toward my very special “Big Friday Night Pizza Fund!”

It's #BandcampFriday meaning all the money you spend on albums goes directly to the artists. Didn't buy much but I did pick up "Heather & Hearth" by Phantom Spell, some pretty good classic 70's Prog Rock/Heavy Metal. Some of my favorites are "The Autumn Citadel", "Evil Hand" and "A Distant Shore"

HyperDuck SoundWorks handling the OST? Enough said, I'm sold. They did such a good job with Dust: An Elysian Tail imo

Another one I see being recommended is Pixel Studio which is free and even on steam, though again I can't say if it's good or not since I haven't used it myself yet store.steampowered.com/app/1204050/...
Pixel Studio - pixel art editor on Steam
Best pixel art editor. Simple. Fast. Portable.

Other than that I see Krita being recommended though I haven't used it for pixel art specifially yet. Another good one I hear is Aseprite which is paid but there's an opensource fork called libresprite which is missing some newer features so if you like it you could move to Aseprite pretty easily
LibreSprite
LibreSprite is a free and open source program for creating and animating your sprites.

I haven't done much pixel art but for the stuff I did do I used pixilart though I wouldn't recommend it since it colors weirdly change pixel to pixel, as if it's being compressed even though it's a PNG.
