Hey, guys.
I think a rule of thumb of storytelling is having a good story to tell.
That’s how I feel about my book On Account of Darkness, the re-creation of the integration of Ontario baseball in 1934.
Available on Amazon and most digital platforms.

But don’t take my word for it:

Leafs really need a coaching change.
Injuries don’t help, but this team plays a plodding style that sees them chasing the puck for most of the game.

I’m always impressed with Auston Matthews’ interviews. He’s articulate, thoughtful, and tries to stay away from cliches.

While I don’t expect Yesavage to dominate his second time through the AL, I do think he’ll be a great mid-rotation SP. The signing of Cease is a nice bridge to 2027, when we might see the likes of Tiedemann and Stanifer as rotation regulars, with King not far behind.

A very happy era in my childhood was when my Dad worked for Pillsbury.

He regularly brought home crescent rolls, cinnamon buns, turnovers, and Totino’s frozen pizza.

What a time that was.

She was but a wee wisp of a puppy at the tail end of last winter.
Now she’s a full-fledged snow dog.

I sat in Mark Shapiro’s office in the fall of 2017, and talked about the organization’s future. He said when the time was right, Eddie Rogers would make sure the money was there.
He’s more than been proven right in that.

Humility and collaboration over appropriation How the Spokane Indians built their brand with the Spokane Tribe, including a logo in Salish. The incredible story:
Authenticity, Collaboration, Respect: The Story Behind the Spokane Indians
Recent conversations about the use of Native American imagery in sports brands have been adversarial, at best. The now-former name of the football team in Washington, DC, was an actual racial slur. The...

Guy who stumbled into the family business after one semester if community college, then used his inheritance to buy the ONPC leadership tells people to “find a job.”
I guess at least the protesters weren’t at home watching the Flintstones.
Doug Ford tells someone protesting his disastrous Bill 60 to find a job.

The gall of the laziest premier telling someone to get a job.

He’s a loathsome human and absolute shambles of a leader who has never had the best interests of anyone but himself in mind during his reign of destruction.

Unfortunately, Calandra and Ford have no intention of letting go of control of school boards until they have installed as many cronies as possible into supervisory positions.

Having seen Manoah pitch in Buffalo, while his physique had improved considerably, he’d lost velo and much of his fastball command.
He looked anything like an MLB starter, and both the Jays and Atlanta felt he never would be again.
