I had an AMAZING time at the #NoKIngs Boston rally on The Common. In addition to witnessing an inspirational speech by the GREAT @mayorwu.boston.gov, I was able to meet my #Anti-ICE HERO @roadsteamer.bsky.social, fresh out of #ICE "detention" in Portland, Oregon. A historical day!!!

I had the opportunity last week to see two amazing young bands, #Mirador (a @jaketkiszka.bsky.social and #ChrisTurpin project) and #Turnstile. As an early #GenXer, I'm more than happy to report that the future of #Rock/#Hardcore is in GREAT HANDS.

I had a GREAT time participating in Boston's #FirstLaborDayMarch organized by @50501movement.bsky.social. A great turnout criticizing the obscene wealth of the "billionaire class" and the treatment of #Unions by the US "president." Plus, I got to meet one of my HEROs, Kenny McCormick of #SouthPark.

Tuesday, I had the privilege of seeing the latest version of the #JoePerryProject including #ChrisRobinson of #BlackCrows, #BradWhitford of @officialaerosmith.bsky.social, and #RobertDeLeo of #StoneTemplePilots. Set list including JPP originals and also tracks from all associated bands. Amazing!

On 8/19 the GREAT @mayorwu.boston.gov responded to the #USAG re: #Boston's "Sanctuary City" status. On 8/20 the #USMC flew these craft low over my house on their way to the #BostonCommon. My first thoughts were citizenry support? or anti #Resistance? It was the former, but proof we live in #DarkDaze

I attended my first #BearingWitnessBurlington MA event earlier today. This group has been meeting every Wednesday (from 11am to 1pm) outside the ICE Boston Field Office for months. I plan to attend moving forward. Hope to see you there.

Growing up in #LosAngeles in the early 80s I had the privledge of knowing members of the band Rough Cutt, Jake E. Lee's band prior to joining #Ozzy. Once Jake joined Ozzy I had the opportunity to meet Ozzy one time and he could not have been more real and humble. #PrinceOfDarkness Rest in Power!

Despite the rain, last Saturday there was a great turnout for the @embracebos.bsky.social 60th Anniversary of Dr. King's rally on #BostonCommon. While listening to speeches by @mayorwu.boston.gov and @pressley.house.gov I was reminded of the "deep bench" within @democrats.org leadership.

I just saw the early release of #PinkFloyd at Pompeii in #IMAX. You can see where #LedZeppelin sourced some of their ideas for their epic film #SongRemeainsTheSame. PF @ Pompeii also showcased the overall musicianship of the band and especially (underrated) drummer #NickMason. Highly recommended.
