Bumped into Frankie Vegas as he worked Royal Street for votes. #dirtylinennight #ThrowbackThursday
But they’re a crack team!
Faith and I were bicycling the last few miles of the NOLA Social Ride along the Algiers levee when she stopped at a marker she’d noticed on the front half of the ride: the memorial for the two sisters and the boyfriend of the older sister in a tragic drowning accident back in 2022.
About last night: Faith made #chickenspaghetti which I’d never heard of and it appears to be a Southern thing? (Why would the Internet lie!)
If you know the movie, and ESPECIALLY if you know the song, we can be friends.

Ok, Costco, do your thing.
Wishing peace tonight to all the families grieving over the loss of life from the Texas flood, especially after hearing it hit close to our friends circle. So tragic.
“What do YOU see, Charlie Brown?”
3/3 But it's also instructive in how to engage people on how bicycling is and can be a part of our culture. This would make for a helluva screening SERIES.
2/3 It's a crazy good but also just crazy movie, mostly wordless but saying so much on this, the eve of the Tour de France. I SWEAR I had a similar idea a few months ago so I'm glad to see great minds think alike! LOL.
1/3 One of my favorite aspects of communications and outreach is embracing culture but also popular culture. That's why I was thrilled that Bike Easy partnered with the Broadside to screen “The Triplets of Belleville” – one of my favorite animation moves AND one involving bikes.
Happy retirement to Lois Reitzes of @wabe.org! 45 years. Legendary. You were so capacious and welcoming during our “Preview” segments. Enjoy your next chapter!
Always great to see family out in Madisonville (well, “suburban” Madisonville) and always great getting an updated “Faith, Hope and Charity” photo. Major thanks to Stephen Blanc Jr. and Taura Narcisse Blanc for hosting!
Hey ABC, stop showing the replay of Tyrese Halliburton’s injury — especially after Mike Breen literally said “That is brutal to watch” the previous/umpteenth time.
