Watched the new @jamesgunn.bsky.social Superman on HBO Max yesterday, as I've missed it in cinemas.

The start felt weird, as if I missed something (classic Xth MCU movie feels), but then it all slowly clicked into place. The praise it earned is well deserved and I look forward to more DCU!

Yay, there's an update about the @trenchcrusade.bsky.social physical book! I was planning to make it my summer reading (would've been a bit odd on the beach), but I guess I'll spend the candlelit winter evenings digging into heretical lore.

And plotting fanfics. Lots of fanfics.

Thunderbolts* finally came out on Disney+, so that was tonight's entertainment. And I enjoyed it. Always had a passion for underdogs, and the movie delivered on that premise. It also had way more heart in it than Brave New World.

Now I wait for Fantastic Four and Superman to arrive to streaming.

Watched The Ritual (2018). I want to say it was simple, but I think pure might be a better word for it. It built suspense steadily, didn't overdo jumpscares and the monster's reveal didn't dislodge my immersion.

A well iterated horror with all the things that I love about the genre. Recommended!

The new Votann post about Gräf01 on #Warhammer Community mentions an ad-hoc Kin organisation called the Grudgeband.

I am happy that term exists now, because it perfectly describes Voidmaster Khar Drindal and the Kin crew of the Dhlaza Marka.

This IS the weirdest timeline! I hadn't been able to set up Secure Boot for quite awhile (MS tech support suggested I do a full purge and a fresh install) and Battlefield 6 prompted me to look at it again.

Lo and behold, using EA's Secure Boot tutorial, I solved it! It's bloody working!
