Here’s the thing I learned from getting this project out after three years – my sewing skills have improved. ☺️
There are parts of this that I sewed at the beginning that don’t look too good and now I’m going to pick them out and fix them. This is really encouraging.

I took home ec in NE Alabama in the early 70’s. The only thing I remember us cooking is scrambled eggs with hollandaise sauce. I doubt that anyone in that town could spell hollandaise😂😂😂

Here’s a tip…if you make a lot of posts about “sowing” hatred and none about “sewing” like clothes and stuff, please make an autocorrect entry in your phone for it. This of us who want to talk about sewing and fabric don’t want to see hate posts. Thanks

After my dad died in Aug 2022 I started a quilt using his plaid shirts, which were kinda his signature thing. We moved soon after and I’ve just now started working on it again. I’m pleased to see how much I’d already done.

This will be a nice, peaceful project.

Pajama pants are pretty easy to make. I made 2 pairs by just laying out a pair I already had and tracing a pattern. You can find instructions online. 😀

Don’t forget the failure to pay penalty for not having enough withheld to cover your tax liability, plus the monthly interest and penalty.

Are we ok with paying even more to the IRS now just to make a point?

My daughter and her husband live in New York State, near the Pennsylvania line. Frost was predicted so they went ahead and picked all the rest of their tomatoes and brought them in the house. The tomatoes will ripen up just fine.

A regular sewing machine will give you much more functionality and not take up that much room. It would fit under an end table, or slide into the bottom of the closet easily. Don’t turn it on its side, though. They have some oil in them.
