Today after some long years actually had to type stuff in the Windows terminal window again, neither my gaming nor Unity require it, I had to look the commands up and I started with DOS, but years of Linux and quasi Linux aka Mac will do that to you, installed WSL ASAP
Me, but it was because my Hardware was to weak for Debian and that was around probably 25 yrs ago :-)
Looptobering, not exactly every day and I sure do not post every day, but yesterday this >4Min thing happend and I am too lazy to snippet it up to make it fit here so its on youtube youtu.be/amItIwkbQqA?..., VosisPro over one of my #glitchart videos #looptober

Vosis Pro for iPad can also synthesize from video so for #looptober 3 I used one of my #glitch videos as basis
Using #Vosis on the iPhone, an app that synthesizes greyscale pixels, sonified one of my #databending images, its a new find, turned out better than expected, will have to investigate #looptober
Have 10 min of recording of nothing much happening, but as a proof that I did something, this is my #looptober non-contribution, its frustrating how much I can’t make my #eurorack work, but I am stubborn, at least there is a cheerful yellow to look at
Very intrigued by your concept of Tau5, looking forward to it
Oh would love to be there and hear that, unfortunately Copenhagen is slightly too far away, still remembering your talk at the Clojure meetup in Zurich around probably more than 10 years ago, curious what has changed for you after SonicPi and Ruby
So #looptober this year, I hereby commit, do people make plans, are there daily challenges, tips, also thanks @pulusound.fi to remind me that its October again and this is a thing I wanted to do
Slowly working on my modular to get interesting sounds out, yes I can program most of it, yes there are modular simulators on computers, but sometimes I just want to use cables and turn knobs, even if it is frustrating at the moment, since I have to learn my modules #eurorack

Just a reminder that I am about to complete my Phd in Procedural Content Generation, and I am looking for a job :')

I have about 5 years of experience as a programmer in AA and AAA studios, I worked on custom engines, Unity, and Unreal.

I can work full time, part time, as a consultant, anything!
I am regularly accused of paranoia, when I don't trust in software solutions from any company and have a local backup system that works on Mac and Windows, so now that Dropbox closes its password service, my backup system of 20 years is still up and running
The Winsor and Newton are very bright, have a very traditional water color palette, which makes subtle colorations hard, but makes bright and luminous pops of color easy.
The color palette of the Faber-Castell has gotten better, but they have a tendency to be too heavy and they have a funny (ugly) form factor.
The Talens Pantone pen has the most marker like color palette, which is good if you don’t want to mix colors all the time and dries fairly water resistant, the Sennelier are unwieldy and hard to work with don't recommend.
The 160 g/m2 Mixed Media Journal is slightly more work while not as sturdy when painting wet. Not every Mixed Media Paper works, it needs to be the right kind of smooth.
Finally found out the right paper to make watercolor markers work, the best paper is the 300g/m2 Talens Van Gogh Mixed Media paper. It has structure and the Watercolor does not sink in immediately and can be worked and mixed with water.
Commodore 128, 16 yr old me went alone with around 2000$ in cash to buy herself a computer & monitor, got them home in a shopping cart, in the end had to reprogram everything for 2 months until I could afford a Datasette (none of the adults I had access to, knew anything tech, magazines were sparse)
Ah nice, decided to try Godot for my project, always looking for cool tutorials
Have a love hate relationship with phthalo blue, it's strong, vibrant and non-toxic, but it also taints other colors easily, and it's hard to mix the phthaloness out of it, this is equally true for phthalo green and nowadays, you have to be careful to find non-phthalo blues #watercolor #art #acrylic

Me It's ok to just take one #fountainpen with me on vacation for #drawing (no I am not good at it, but I will try), I now own one more #KawecoSport the only reliable pen that works, always, cartridge in, one pump and yay ink, no fuss, no prep, and it will still work after a year of not using it
Bought some black acrylic markers to experiment, not happy with the Edding ones, they are too transparent, but the Kreul Triton XXL and the Posca PC-7M are excellent, also the Pigment Realbrush I found by accident in my local art store Boesner
