if someone gets accused of inappropriate behaviour on several occasions towards people especially if they're a lot younger then them, then i do in fact question why you'd protect them

I'm not sure what kind of safeguarding training you've had (four years for me) but calling people out publically and attempting to drive a wedge between people will generally drive them back towards the person they love. Actual support, actual help, if you feel someone is in danger, is nuanced.
