If that statement made you feel disgusted, that’s normal.

If it feels reasonable, or you agree with it, you are likely a victim of a severely abusive environment with internal wounds that DESERVE future care and healing.

The reason you think something that makes COMPLETE sense is “so very weird”…

is because you likely have deeply imbedded traumatic emotional injuries from others (and probably later, yourself) whom judged you lesser, incomplete, or insufficient.

You have ALWAYS been enough.

It’s almost like the people that get to see you at your worst and choose to stick around are a higher caliber of person being than the ones whom prefer to take advantage of a perfect victim/subservient toy.

Yes, we will likely always have a much smaller target demo, but our fans and folks are fierce. And active. There is a future with them. We just gotta keep being here.

I feel at a certain point as a queer creator, it can become our duty to be extant vs successful.

Seen by those whom hate us, but also to a minority amid them whom NEED us.

YOU might be EVERYTHING to someone lost and alone, a proof that they deserve to exist.

To me… it’s worth the glass ceiling.
