Seeing a camo cyber truck in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant feels wrong in all sorts of ways.

This is really unfair to everyone who just voted for him for the racism.

I believer that any family gathering with conservative relatives, you should propose playing Mario Kart. Then pick Luigi while staring them down.

A damn good day to protest.

Inaction is no longer an option.

After a rough financial patch took me down to a lower membership, I got to boost back up during the #maxfundrive
So much of what I listen to comes from this incredible podcast network. @maximumfun.org @maximumfilmpodcast.bsky.social @jordanjessego.bsky.social

They say one person can't make a difference. Even if that were true (it's not) there's not one of us. There are millions.

It’s not (just) that Gavin Newsom betrayed the LGBTQIA community by going after trans athletes, it’s that he betrayed morality and basic freaking human decency. He is a taint of a man. I look forward to seeing him get creamed in the 2028 presidential primaries.

I am always continuing my dive into queer cinema history. I watched Buddies yesterday, the first feature film made about AIDS all the way back in 1985.

I saw it in the morning and still felt it's echoes in my heart and mind until I went to bed. We have to preserve our history.

Apparently, plastic lids can essentially suction cup themselves to the bottom of baking trays in the dishwasher. It’s fun to find out 10 minutes into the bake.

Are the Oscars an actual gauge of what is good and not? Nah, but they can still be fun and interesting. I’m halfway through the Best Picture nominees.

In the midst of everything else, I think there’s something you all need to know.

My cat Franklin has a very soft fuzzy belly, and he likes to pin my hand to it with his back legs.

I am removed by a degree, but a friend had federal employee friends of hers reporting what's going on. A bunch of people got emails that they were suspended with pay as of 5 pm yesterday. People in the offices today... white men, and support staff. Not surprised, horrified though.

Sometimes I like sending handwritten cards to people I care about. Unfortunately, with my handwriting they usually assume it’s a ransom note.

I just rewatched Casablanca. A lot of people think of Rick as a hero for making sure the resistance can continue and for killing a nazi.

Let us remember, Captain Louis saw him kill that nazi, and didn't say a freaking word about it. Louis is a hero too.

I’m not Christian or Jewish, so I’ve never taken much stock in the Bible or the Torah. That being said, I like part of psalm 133.
Is it not good and pleasant when brethren dwell together in unity.

Not a biblical scholar, but it seems like it MIGHT be saying living together in peace is a good thing.

So for all those followers I have (I see you 58 people), a link to the most popular video I've ever made. 600 views on my channel, but 272,000 on the editors. She is pretty cool that way.
Anyways, our educational video on "How to Spot a Bisexual"

My new plan, apparently, is a full crisis of confidence every 5 months about the way I am pursuing my dreams. Cool cool cool.

I can’t think of anything positive about tomorrow, except I keep thinking about @samreich.bsky.social saying “get ready for a game changer!” So at least I can laugh about that

In this time, I am often reminded of what Mr Rogers said, look for the helpers. More than ever, I’m thinking about firefighters and people offering places to stay, water, food, stuffies for children, free transport for horses and so much more.

For any nerds about the history of museums, I’m sad to report that at the trivia night at the Milwaukee Public Museum, we did NOT win best team name for “Cabinet of Queeriosities”
