Admin reveal! I really do love a good painting. I'll be at booth 669 (nice) at the Philly tattoo convention today!

Never!!! I will never give up extra long day
I think it's important to understand that the worst has already happened. There are thousands of people unaccounted for in the US and it's likely some portion are dead.I firmly believe history will reveal this.
Look into VOIP! It's super cheap and basically runs through the internet
The telephone system was one of the wildest human networks ever!!! Phones are awesome. Love the color of that remake!
I posted this on Instagram and it seemed to do well, so I wanted to share it here as well. This short clip encompasses the journey of the tattooer. This craft is taxing, physically and mentally, but the support of the people we tattoo is what carries us through.

That phone is awesome!!! Is it vintage or a remake?
*Making it. I really need to spell check better. I hate on screen keyboards 😭
I could not get a good picture of this dragon but I had fun meeting it. I tried drawing it all on one shot but I couldn't get the head so I ended up stenciling a head and drawing in the rest. Good clean fun.

Larry Copeland hosted a gathering of tattoo and piercing fans at his Hoboken, NJ residence in 1974/5.

In attendance was Emil Gundelach who continued getting tattooed into his 90s, Tatu Scotty, Spider Webb, Dave Slack, Mary, and Ken Meyer (among other unnamed friends)

Dave Slack was a queer tattoo artist who worked in NYC in the 1970s/80s. He appeared in the legendary gay xxx video "NYC INFERNO" (playing a tattoo artist).

This clip, recorded in approx 1974/5, also features Emil Gundelach, Larry Copeland, Key Meyer, and Spider Webb.

Thanks! I can't wait to finish it out. His nips aren't gonna be happy lol
Got a fun start to this chest on a great client. Sleeve by me, ribs by my friend Lacey Rae. Sometimes no nips is better.

The older I get, the less invested I am in making money on conventions. My art has a very small audience and sometimes I have to step out of my little station to find the kind of freaks who wanna party. Working conventions is way more fun when it's about connecting with people and not big bucks.
I got to do this design at the hocus poke us mini convention this past weekend. It wasn't the busiest I've ever been, but I got the opportunity to do this incredibly fun design and talk to a kid about the band lightning bolt. It was really fun.

St Christopher translated to the style of classic electric tattoo. I grew up in a heavily conservative evangelical home so I have no love for Christianity, but the iconography associated with it makes for a great tattoo.

I appreciate the x theoretically, but announcing to the state that I'm non-binary/trans has always felt like a bad choice. Like changing the gender to m/f is for the "safety" of passing. Telling every cop or bureaucrat that information feels sketchy
I've also been using markers and color pencil instead of painting with watercolor. I feel a little shame in that. Learning to use a nib was a point of pride for me. Changing up mediums has allowed me to loosen up and break some of the patterns that have felt stale.
